the amount of people genuinely mad at me and believing that i actually took down my bookshelves because of the tiktok ban is so silly to me

i dont have words to describe the disgust, horror, and fear i have felt every single day since the election

this supreme court ruling doesnt mean this is the end of the road for tiktok, but this does make the fight a lot harder

my therapist gets mad at me because whenever something bad happens, or im feeling a negative emotion, i just say its “not fun”

the tiktok ban is actually forcing me to edit my drafts, instead of letting them rot, hidden away in that folder forever. this is unforgiveable

listening to the supreme court tiktok ban hearing is so frustrating and really proving how out of touch (and frankly, uneducated on matters of tech) they all are

i can now say that my legally blonde and irish folklore inspired romantic fantasy novel comes out THIS YEAR!!!!

I’ll be painfully honest about this because I don’t know how else to be: while I really do welcome statements like “if they can penalize queer authors, they can penalize romance authors!” I wish with all my heart that the penalization of queer authors had been enough of an industry-wide crisis point

i love screenshotting things to help me remember them, only to lose that screenshot in the hundreds of other forgotten screenshots on my phone

one thing I hope people take away from the Blake Lively news is how easily the internet can be weaponized by abusers. If this happened to her, imagine how many marginalized people this has happened to, who people are far more likely to dismiss
