I guess the amp could be for any instrument, but I think knowing that I want to specifically accept output from a DAC constrains the problem sufficiently to inform decisions about gain and headroom, etc

Will i ever even be happy if I don't mic a cabinet? I think so. I'm just not sure exactly where I can tap the signal and how much I'll have to attenuate and filter.

I want to build a tube overdrive circuit for a DAC, but I don't know if I can get good enough tone out of a preamp circuit or if I have to clip big baddy main gain stage output tubes as well to get that sweet sweet breakup.

I was like, "yeah! Im gonna put down 3 test points on ground for this board; that way I'll have plenty of spots to grab with probie ground clips and I won't have to clip them all together and run like extra ground wires and stuff! 😃🤓" I never pushed them to the pcb
