I find it very amusing that since bosses in VTM:B are mostly immune to the instakill powers of high level thaumaturgy that the ideal boss-killing strategy as a tremere is to force them to puke their guts out endlessly while you hack them apart with an axe.

Replaying VTM: Bloodlines since my old save got borked by some Source issue and man I despise stealth missions but I am so goddamn greedy for XP that I will put myself through them.
Yes I am a rank 5 Thaumaturge and I could make every guard explode, but I need those 2 bonus XP.

In our WHFRP game, in order to progress from a student mage to a proper mage and learn High Magic, my Asur PC has had to separate from the party for a little while, and I've been playing a backup PC in the meantime.
Let me tell you. I miss my boy. I can't wait for him to get back

I'm not keeping my hopes high but I'll be extremely pleased if this Warlock game turns out to be good. We don't have enough games fully dedicated to playing as spellcasters.

Re-reading Wrath and Glory, MAN it bugs me how weak the eldar psychic powers are in Inheritance of Embers. Especially now that Daemons & Heretics gave chaos extremely powerful psychic powers, but those are intended for NPCs only.

At first it bugged my that Robert gets put under investigation for killing Shroud after he attacked you with a giant mech and a legion of supervillains, held your dog hostage and shot Visi, then I remembered that Dispatch takes place in California and no yeah that tracks.

I think it would be neat for a ttrpg to have an option in combat to suffer some kind of status effect (being disarmed, knocked prone, moved out of position, etc.) to reduce or remove damage taken. Make combat less static and give it a more swashbuckling, action movie kind of feel
