The butterfly is on the one in the center, which can barely be seen because of the size of the butterfly. It is facing up. A black-patched clepsis moth on a leaf. The leaf covers about two-thirds of the photo from the left side inward. The moth is on the outside of the left facing up. It is mostly a cream color, but with a long black patch on each wing and a couple lighter black spots toward the bottom. It almost looks like a burnt piece of wood. There is a white patch with a black dot in the middle of it on the thorax .The head is slight darker than the wings with antennae sticking out to the sides.

An immature female Eastern forktail damselfly on a blade of grass. The grass looks huge compared to the dragonfly and crosses the photo diagonally from the bottom right to the upper left. There are other grass leaves blurred in the background. The damselfly is facing left. It is a brilliant orange on the thorax with a thick black stripe in the middle and two thinner stripes along the sides. Its legs are a cream color with a hint of orange. The abdomen is orange just below the thorax on the first two segments, but then is black the rest of the way to the tail.

Sort of hard to see in this photo as it blends in so well with its surroundings, but an American woodcock stands next to a flowing stream. In the foreground is a lot of brown grass along the creek's edge. The woodcock is centered behind that, its round body slightly bent over. It appears mostly grey, with some brown streaking and some lighter areas. The head is round and it has a very long bill. Behind it is a creek with rusty water and on the other side of the stream is more grass on the far bank.
