today was not Maeve’s day. she was reduced down to a lump beneath the blankets on the small bed in her cramped room, sniffling and twitching. she hadn’t eaten since last night, and got hardly more than a wink of sleep. a part of her hoped this would be over by tomorrow, but she knew better . .

maybe a trip to the dispensary would sort her out . . if this space - station has one. ( 💧 )

ah . . . what to do today— wallow in self - doubt and memories of the past, or get out and buy some provisions for her next contract ? ahhhh . . . rotting in bed for a while sounds nice . . . . .
