Singing Postman's muse Molly Windley who 'smook like a chimley' dies at 92
Obituary: She is said to have "smook like a chimley" yet Norfolk’s Molly Windley lived to a ripe old age before her death at 92.

Lovely poem 👇
My son had been tasked with writing a poem for school, so we had sat down and written together. It is a poem against cynicism and the mess we are in. It is about love (and doughnuts in ice cream).

Up Norwich today:

Palsied old step-takers,
Hare-eyed clerks with the jitters,

Waxed-fleshed out-patients
Still vague from accidents,
And characters in long coats
Deep in the litter-baskets -

Once upon a time there was a bustling harbour between Castle Rising and Babingley - deep enough to accommodate large sailing ships that entered from The Wash. But then the River Babingley silted up.

It's a long way to the top (if you wanna rock 'n' roll). Unfortunately the Landmark Trust have lost their lease on Appleton Water Tower and it's passing back to the Sandringham Estate. (Perhaps they're planning to lock Andrew up in here.)

No, this isn't the Cairngorm mountains - but Dersingham Bog in Norfolk. You're welcome.

The importance of a free press should never be underestimated. Many of America's problems are down to the fact that, for so long now, the lunatic antics of Mad King Donny have not been accurately reported by the corrupt, partisan scribblers.

We went to Hunstanton today, so I thought I'd make a representative art installation for you all. From the bottom up: carstone, red chalk, white chalk. You're welcome.

West Newton church: lovely on the outside but, inside, those pesky Victorians stripped out almost everything of interest. Blast.

Rising was a seaport,
When Lynn was but a marsh;
Now Lynn it is a seaport
And Rising fares the worse!

There aren't many Norfolk lost villages offering accommodation but Appleton (with its Italianate water tower) is one. It was built in 1877 by Queen Victoria to eradicate typhoid on the Sandringham Estate. Bit blowy up the top buh.
