The Unites States failed before. It even went to war - got attacked(?) after it's failure. I say this as history is full of examples of countries that appease its oligarchs, military & impoverished its population failing QUICKLY. Most famous examples: Nazi Germany, Confederate States of America.

What a fucking joke! The US Military is "celebrating the Marines 250th" by shelling itself! & absolutely nothing to do with shutting down a California highway for No Kings. FFS, if California needed an excuse to leave the union, do you think the military shelling itself in California is a good one?

When we see railgun development, it seems the focus is on a high-speed kinetic weapon. (Destructive wise, it's effective.) But what if we asked: what types of shells can one launch from a railgun over 30km? Launched like traditional artillery? Is there a power reduction? Rail life duration? >100km?

I hear AI's not a bubble because "it's building [stuff]." They built lots from the end of WWI to 1929; & we built a lot of hardware, software, "automation" in Dotcom.

If the States economically collapses, the world won't. The EU will take a hit, Canada a bigger hit (we're not diversifying fast enough), the "3rd world" may even improve. But China will survive for many reasons, but the main is a cheap, easy to build, maintain, less restrictive clean energy sector.

If the Argentina bailout was $20B from the Treasury Department (that means from the department's budget), then how many other department budgets has Congress allowed Trump to be hallowed out?

This isn't new for Trump. The border wall used military funding in Trump's 1st term.

I think this shutdown will not have the effect some believe, & will lead to fast tracking China's dominance. Congress signed their own death warrant; SCOTUS slowly signed its own death warrant. The government takes steps to protect corporations, the rich & powerful. They destroy that, & here's FAFO.
