i am fully convinced that some kind of bribery transpired so melnikova could keep her neutral status after literally running for local office under putin's political party. wouldn't be out of character for russia.
either way, she didn't and still doesn't deserve her neutral status.

So, Melnikova is a regime-party candidate for the Voronezh Oblast Duma, an oblast next to the Russia-occupied Ukranian territories. I am looking forward to the "But Melnikova is one of the good ones and should compete!" crowed to explain that away. There are no "neutral" Russians over 18.
