But, and especially the actual downtown part of the city is especially consistently blue. The State Senator for the whole city and and the state rep for downtown is a dem (the other state rep is republican but whatever)

In terms of Alaska it’s an urban center

And okay the city overall has *narrowly* voted for a Republican president (it was a larger gap in the 2000s but has been getting much narrower ever since).
