The fundamental failure of social media is the lack of ability to believe that two things can be true at the same time. The world is gray.
Simultaneously holding two opposite ideas in your head can be uncomfortable. Sitting with that dissonance, that discomfort, is hard, I know. But the trans folks who voted for Newsom only to see him abandon them have to sit with worse every single gd second.
