Really? Hasn't been that way on my side historically, before the Occupation most of the large governmental positions were held by men such as Jas Holza, Verin Kolek, that collaborator Kubus Oak and Keeve Falor while most of the law enforcement services were prominently male.
Historically, Bajorans were matriarchal before we were egalitarian, but in my lifetime, I’ve had to assert myself over Klingon and Cardassian men.
