Captain Mark Kelly
@captmarkkelly.bsky.social
Navy combat veteran and retired NASA astronaut. Husband to @GabbyGiffords.bsky.social. United States Senator for the great state of Arizona.
My daughter and I visited the house we lived in when she was a baby, and she was shocked a 29-year-old Navy guy could afford a nice house in a safe neighborhood.

That wasn’t crazy in 1996 — but today, a nice house is out of reach for so many young people. That has to change.

Trump and his Administration are targeting me because I said something they didn’t like — but here’s the thing: I won’t be intimidated into silence. I’ve overcome challenges a lot tougher than Donald Trump or Pete Hegseth.
November 25, 2025 at 4:49 AM
I’ll be on @maddow.bsky.social soon to talk about why I’m not going to let Donald Trump or Pete Hegseth intimidate me out of doing my job — including oversight of this administration. Tune in.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.
November 24, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Listen, Trump. Your continued threats will not intimidate me or keep me from doing my job, which includes oversight of the executive branch.

Stop the threats of execution, hanging, and sending a mob before someone gets hurt.

America deserves better.
New threats from Trump:

The president just endorsed a post reading, "Go get all those traitorous sons of bitches for sedition at the very least. Those pompous traitorous communists should be impeached and prosecuted."
November 24, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Trump essentially said loyalty to the Constitution is punishable by death. Those are dangerous words coming from the President of the United States, but I’m not going to be intimidated.

Great to be back in Tucson with @gabbygiffords.bsky.social for El Tour de Tucson. Turns out the secret to a strong marriage is an annual 32-mile bike ride. Thanks to everyone who stopped us to say hello.

Trump has been firing those who disagree with him, but here’s the thing: He can’t fire us.

He can try to intimidate all he wants, but I’m not going to be bullied.
November 22, 2025 at 8:16 PM
A gunman tried to silence my wife in an extreme act of political violence.

Now, Trump has called for my execution because he didn’t like what I had to say.

Gabby and I know, when others try to silence you, you must keep speaking out — and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

My husband @captmarkkelly.bsky.social is a 25-year Navy combat pilot veteran. He served our country with strength, courage, and integrity.

The President called him a traitor and demanded he be executed. It is dangerous and wrong. Americans need to stand up and say so.
I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

There is nothing more American than standing up for the Constitution. And that's something Donald Trump will never understand.

It finally happened, folks. The House and the Senate both voted to release the Epstein files, almost unanimously. It’s past time the victims get the justice they deserve.
November 20, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Trump sees the writing on the wall — there's more than enough votes to release the Epstein files because Americans want to see some accountability for the victims of these heinous crimes. As soon as the House passes their bill, the Senate needs to take it up immediately.

In Trump’s America, “struggling” billionaires need a giant tax cut, but working people don’t deserve support to keep their health care premiums from going up.

We have to keep fighting to give Americans relief from rising costs, because they’re not going to get it from Trump.

Seeing over 200 folks in Sedona with the Dems of the Red Rocks reminds me why I'm hopeful. Arizonans are doing the work to hold Trump accountable for choosing big corporations over working people. We'll retake the House and Senate in 2026 because of the work being done right now.

Every piece of data that comes out shows Trump’s policies are hurting our economy and killing jobs. With him in charge, Americans are paying more, losing health care, and getting laid off. That’s his legacy.

As a Navy vet, I’ve seen how public service teaches you the kind of social and job skills that can change your life’s trajectory. Think about how much stronger our country could be if young people had more opportunities like that — military or otherwise.

Maybe you can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night, but most Americans are trying to figure out which bills they can pay with their last $50.
Eric Trump: "You can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night at 11pm while having a glass of wine with your wife for virtually zero fees."

Drip, drip, drip. It’s past time for the Speaker of the House and Republicans in Congress to do the right thing and release the Epstein files to the American people. Anything less than full disclosure is just part of the coverup.

After repeated delays and excuses, Speaker Johnson will finally swear in Adelita Grijalva. Southern Arizonans will get the representation they voted for — and Adelita will be the final signature on the House discharge petition to release the Epstein files.

Republican Senators slipped this nugget into the CR last night. Rigging the legal system to give $500,000 or more to each of them because someone followed the facts and looked at their phone records. That’s your money folks.

Happy Veterans Day, Arizona. When you’ve put your life on the line for our freedoms, our country should always have your back. It’s my honor to represent our state’s veterans and servicemembers in the Senate, and I’ll always fight to make sure they get the benefits they deserve.

I voted NO on this funding bill. The last thing American families need right now is skyrocketing health care premiums as they struggle to keep up with rising costs — but that’s exactly what they’re facing because of Trump and Republicans.
November 10, 2025 at 7:45 PM
It’s time for Speaker Johnson to cut the ridiculous excuses and do his job. Adelita Grijalva won an election more than 6 weeks ago, and she still hasn’t been sworn in to represent more than 800,000 Arizonans. Read her op-ed:
I was elected 6 weeks ago. Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to swear me in.
Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to swear me into office, an unprecedented and starkly undemocratic position that sets a very dangerous precedent.
