For something like a 52 or stamper their gameplan remains relatively consistent independent of what comps you roll so you're always praticing (even if not always at 100%) but playing heavy as a solo back vs part of a 3 back team is like playing 2 different weapons (and it's also really just not fun)

I understand where you're coming from, but it's moreso a worse experience. Like yes I could probably learn something by fighting 2-3 Hydras/Rapid on tc for 2 hours, or I could most likely learn a LOT more by playing in a lot more realistic scenarios where your gameplan is more similar to one in comp

I mind the triple backline games because very, very little of what happens is applicable to comp later. I will not usually have to be flanking with heavy, nor will I have 3 weapons in the enemy comp that outrange me. It's good(?) pratice for more X, but for comp if its your goal, its not ideal :(

I think X is always a good learning experience (especially for front/supports), for backs it's a good experience if you accept that some games will just be triple backline and you can't learn anything from it, which can be rly frustrating. Still worth playing because you learn a lot but frustrating

Imo crab is so far above every other special it's not even close, it's the only special that does literally everything from zoning retakes holding painting one shots tanking aggro AND it's still the most consistent at doing all of those things, I don't think the "counters" are that good either
caramelclara.bsky.social
Any special that's function is just "get kills" for me is always rated very low, same reason why splashdown is super low and my zooka placement is way lower than most ppl would put it

Hammer imo is the worst of all of them because it's the riskiest and still stupidly inconsistent

Thoughts after playing new patch for a good amount of time

Why do you think the new 96 is better than zap (I also agree but wanna know your opinion), and do you think it's realistic that we see backlines like BP Heavy and the New Charger with it

nvm im blind and didn't see there's also a western player section but I think that doc should still be updated w/ the community and also be made more easily available ! Just off the top of my head I know a few players that shld be included aswell for example for L-3
