Oh dear, 16 degrees centigrade yesterday in Stirling, the warmest November day in decades. Global warming is creeping up on us and on nature.

The Danes are diversifying their heat sources, including a 70 MW water sourced heat pump used when electricity prices are low.
Massive 5MW air source heat pump in Denmark, with water preheated by solar panels. Makes the system more efficient for large scale district heating.
It's always heartening to see that people will cycle with the right infrastructure and support. Copenhagen has similar weather to the UK.

Visited #Whitelee today. 215 turbines, the largest onshore windfarm in UK. Impressive scale, but these turbines are 'small' by today's more powerful standards. New battery storage too. Innovation in action.

Handa Island is full of moorland and seabirds (sorry, no zoom camera). Guillemot, puffin, razorbill, wheatear... Well done Scottish Wildlife Trust for eradicating egg eating rats.
Crawled into a sea cave near remote Lochinver and it was full of disgusting plastic rubbish, from boats I guess.
