Faith is proven by action, not words. Inspired by Ozanam, let us boldly love and serve the poor.

Cardijn encourages us to counter rising nationalism by actively building God's Kingdom, guided by the parables of the mustard seed, leaven, and hidden treasure. Through See-Judge-Act, we live out the Beatitudes, promoting justice, peace, and love.

Will I emulate Peter Claver by standing with the oppressed, loving sacrificially, and believing in the transformative power of Christ's mercy for every soul?

Since 1999, I’ve been deeply shaped by Saint Pier Giorgio, an early leader of the Catholic student movement IMCS Pax Romana, someone who understood that the Eucharist calls us to serve the poor, resist fascism, and build peace.

In the face of fascism & nationalism, Pier Giorgio, pray for us

🎉 Celebrating the canonisation of St Pier Giorgio Frassati & St Carlo Acutis—models of faith, justice & joy.

May their lives inspire young people to walk verso l’alto—towards the heights of love, hope & solidarity.

“Verso l’alto!” Pier Giorgio Frassati, model for students + workers, is canonised! Cardijn saw in him a shining example of the lay apostolate: reflection → action → reflection. greglopez260882.substack.com/p/cardijn-co...

On this Feast of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, I ask myself: do I see Christ in the poor, and do I act with love? Her life challenges us in the Cardijn Community—especially in our later years—to think not just of what we leave behind for our children, but also for those who have nothing. 🌿🙏

Feast of St Gregory the Great. He used his wealth to serve the poor, not himself.

Many of us in the Cardijn Community are in our third age. Will we leave our wealth only to children already secure—or also to the poor?

What legacy will we choose?

Today we honour St John the Baptist ✝️🔥—fearless in truth 💪, humble in spirit 🙏, faithful to the end 🌈. His courage makes me ask: what am I doing about Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and injustice around me 🏘️? May my life prepare the way for Jesus 🌟🕊️.

As Church, we risk being drawn into culture wars—polishing the outside of the cup—while forgetting the heart of the Gospel. Our true witness is not in winning arguments but in living mercy, justice, and love in daily life.
