Van Domselaar has been managing injuries since the back end of last season and often playing through them- understand things worsened before the recent international break- and Slegers confirmed she'll now be out for the remainder of the calendar year with a quad tendon issue

Do worry about the chances for young players to play first team football at the likes of Arsenal without any League Cup action- we've seen it this season that for the first half of the campaign, every match is in the WSL or Champions League where each game has very high stakes...

I know we're all distracted by the NLD today but Jessie Gale has just scored another goal for Pompey, this time against West Ham in the Subway Cup.
She's having an astonishing loan spell on the south coast. That's her 4th goal this season.
