Physicians in Canada are disproportionately concentrated in urban centers, with rural regions facing significant gaps in specialist care. The geo-spatial characteristics of IR in Canada have not been systematically studied.

Nearly half of lower extremity CTAs were done on trauma patients with normal exams—none needed intervention. Hard signs of vascular injury strongly predict positive CTAs. Using tailored criteria can cut costs and reduce ER wait times.

18F-FDG PET/CT is highly effective in detecting immune-related adverse events (IRAEs) in metastatic melanoma patients undergoing immunotherapy. It identified 92% of IRAEs, including 33% not suspected clinically, making it a valuable tool in managing adverse effects.
