#CELRAN Day after post-match summary: Should Celtic have been down to 10 men?- Possibly. Should the Rangers already have been down to 9?- Absolutely! Did VAR Dallas invent an offside to disallow a Celtic goal? - Certainly. Was the penalty decision a joke? - You bet. Did the best team win? - 100%!

It was really nice actually. If you have to cater for vegans - (and somebody else is paying) De Waghals, near the Albert Cuijp market, is a lovely place for a B-Day dinner.

A cold but lovely long weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The trail straight up South Moat Mountain was grueling (the photos don’t show the pain😬) but the white water and the color were rewarding.

Btw. Not that hitting people was normal for me, but I did warn him - twice - he annoyed lots of other people. He was also much bigger. Hence my months long Mazzo hero status. Spoke to a band member at Haarlem vinyl week. Said the guy was normally mild mannered so probably out his mind on something.

I absolutely loved that album, but possibly THE worst concert I ever went to was Grace Jones in the Carre theatre in Amsterdam (‘81/82). Sound was awful. She hardly sung a live note. Almost entirely playback. No audience interaction. We were SO disappointed. Can only assume she was out of her head!

Early 80’s in Mazzo, Amsterdam. Got angry with guy staggering around knocking drinks over (incl. mine & g/f’s). Warned him to stay clear. Couldn’t understand why bouncers ignored it. He did it again, so I hit him. It was Golden Earring’s drummer - apparently out of character. Drunk on it for months
