Please don' t take the support for granted. You dropped the ball in a number of cases and your ongoing flirting with extreme right is a dangerous path. The extreme right has only one ambition: dismantling the EU so their overlords are free to subjugate the European citizens you say you defend.

Spain has already achieved it. Main trick: decouple the electricity prices from the price of gas. Electricity companies are getting filthy rich by selling renewable electricity at the price of gas generated electricity. Time to end this.

WAPO: Men in blue coats are robbers!

A time will come when we hold all of them accountable. The nazis in 1933 couldn't imagine that 12 years later they would stand trial for their atrocities. Those who are now slowing the transition to Net Zero will face the reckoning. We will not forget.

What many people either don't know or don't care to mention, is that many new coal fired power plants replace existing, far less efficient plans. Sure, replacing coal with WSW is way better, but not every new coal plant adds new coal to the mix.

If they can make a zero emission, fossil fuel free car that runs on synthetic fuel that has the same energy and pollution footprint as an electric car, then I am all for it.

Are you saying Trump has been lying???

As Maria Ressa said to John Stewart: we are in Information Armaggedon: fight or perish. So the civilized, well-meaning part of the USA needs to fully enter this information war or else accept that the fascists will win.

For once, and only once, I agree with DT. Carbon Capture is a scam to siphon off subsidies, apart from greenwashing by fossil fuel companies that pretend to continue BAU because 'we just suck the CO2 from the air.

OK, so to each and everyone who is now having voters remorse I would like to say: you are a bloody moron! What else did you expect??

WaPo please stop spouting your neo-liberal BS. If there is a problem, it is that corporate benefits and elitists extract wealth from society and give nothing in return. Let's start by fixing the gap between productivity and wages and then see where we stand. Leave Welfare Alone!!

Voor de gevestigde orde van fossiele bedrijven is de regering volstrekt niet onbetrouwbaar. Ze hebben precies gedaan wat ze moesten doen.

Note: annual budgets is annual federal budgets.

Fair enough. With batteries getting cheaper and cheaper, the way forward is a fully distributed grid IMO. Each house owner could become a small energy distributor, apart from being self-sufficient. EV charging and heatpumps wouldn't be a problem

I just asked an AI what the estimated profits were that the Fortune 1000 companies made in 2023. It's around 25 trillion. Annual budgets in 2023 for:
USAID: $71.9 billion
Medicare: $848.2 billion
Education: $268.4 billion
Together, that is about 4.75% of the Fortune 1000 profits.
Think about that!

I assume this is for people living in houses with south facing rooftops rather than apartment buildings?

Ever since the Cambridge Analytica scandal it has become clear that Social Media are the perfect tool to destabilise democracy. Yet politicians in Europe didn't take notice. Hopefully they start noticing now. It's 1 second to midnight for democracy in the US and 1 minute to midnight for Europe.

Perdona, error tipográfico. Quise decir 300 km.
