Lately, I’ve been winding down my days with gouache painting, when it’s too dark to do commission work. It’s been such a joy to simply play. I’m keeping it loose, focusing on simple shapes and not expecting too much, just learning to feel comfortable with the brush and medium.

I’ve always wanted to draw a croissant but kept putting it off, how do you capture that perfect crispness with a limited palette? My eyes are sore, and I may have given myself a migraine, but I pushed through. Many times, I nearly gave up, but I’m so glad I didn’t. #drawing #art #illustration
