A family in Oklahoma lit their fire pit for Thanksgiving. This warmed the ground just enough to cause tiny red-eared sliders to emerge from their burrow next to the fire pit a full five to six months early. The family spent the holiday driving them to Wild Care Oklahoma where they will winter over.

I am so sad for this young woman. She was just starting her life and she shouldn't have even been in DC. She should have been home with her family. She was supposed to have gone home in September but Trump defied a court order to keep her in DC. Shameful.
