Hazel may be blind but she wants you to know she is still capable of swiping a beaker full of treats off the kitchen table and enjoying them at leisure.

Being blind hasn’t affected Hazel’s morning routine of eating her breakfast, checking Bernie’s bowl to see is he has left anything (as if he would) and checking round the food bins to see if I have dropped the merest morsel, a more lucrative pursuit. Any food on the floor is hers according to law.
