Some read Jennifer Lyell’s emails and see a dangerous woman.

I read them and see a woman in danger.

Have you ever wondered why so many believers say they follow Jesus but live as if God isn’t really present in their lives?
December 15, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Pastor,

Don’t commit to avoiding women.

Commit to honoring women as your sisters in Christ and fellow image bearers.

Jesus didn’t practice the Billy Graham Rule.

But he did honor women.

We’ve all said “this year will be different.”

We’ve read the books, heard the sermons, tried harder but the anger, the lust, the loneliness, the distance from God are ALL still there.

If male SBC seminary professors are supposed to have godly authority over their students, and especially the female ones, why does the power dynamic vanish when it’s abused?
December 13, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Here’s your seasonal reminder that Ravi Zacharias was an outspoken proponent of the Billy Graham Rule
December 12, 2025 at 9:17 PM
If I were in the SBC, I would want everyone to know that all seminary professors are expected to model Christlikeness.

This would obviously mean that sexualizing a relationship with a student would be immediate grounds for dismissal and public rebuke for abusing their power and position
December 12, 2025 at 2:11 PM
Two things can be true at once:

1. Investigations must be rigorous, legal, and fair. Survivors deserve no less.

2. A professor sexualizing a student is an abuse of power. Period, the end, always.

Billions are spent chasing a feeling—motivational words on wall art, “good vibes” in candles and crystals.

But before you buy what can’t save you… discover the Hope that already came.

Individualistic Christianity can only take us so far because God designed us to grow together.

Walk with others who share your hunger for spiritual depth.

Music has a way of capturing memories, faith, and joy.

For me, O Holy Night is a song that always stirs something deep in my heart.

I’m curious... what’s your favorite Christmas song and why?

Scientists are stunned by how perfectly the universe seems built for life.

Dr. Luke Barnes breaks down the evidence behind this fine-tuning and asks the big question: design or coincidence?

Rejecting God feels easier but it costs more.

So, why do you think people still reject God even when they know the consequences?
