Drug dealer jailed for role in County Lines conspiracy
A drug dealer has been jailed after police unravelled a conspiracy selling cocaine and heroin across a county border. James Porter, aged 32, was a key member of a group running a drugs line between Nottingham and Ilkeston, in Derbyshire. Analysis of Porter’s mobile phone revealed he was dealing Class A drugs by sending out bulk messages to addicts in the town. Porter’s involvement in drug dealing first came to light in 2022 when intelligence led officers to execute a warrant at a home in Wollaton. Broxtowe response teams found Class A drugs, cash and multiple mobile phones when they carried out the raid and Porter was charged with a number of offences.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested an illegally present, 20-year-old Salvadoran national who has been previously deported four times. Officers with ICE Baltimore arrested Moises Alberto Figueroa-Bonilla May 27 in Frederick. Figueroa is a validated member of MS-13. “This individual’s repeated illegal entries into the United States, despite multiple prior removals, demonstrate a complete disregard for our nation’s immigration laws,” said ICE Baltimore acting Field Office Director Nikita Baker. “More importantly, his known affiliation with the violent transnational criminal organization MS-13 poses a clear threat to public safety. ICE Baltimore will continue to prioritize the arrest and removal of aliens who endanger the communities we serve.”

Illegal Alien and Prolific Drug Trafficker Convicted Following Thwarted Robbery of Rival Cocaine Supplier
Adan Macedo-Rios, 52, of Mexico, who is an alien unlawfully present in the United States, has been convicted of charges related to trafficking in illegal drugs, money laundering, robbery, and unlawful possession of firearms. “Macedo-Rios, an illegal alien, distributed large amounts of dangerous drugs and laundered his ill-gotten gains through the purchase of a Georgia horse ranch. His callous and dangerous behavior—highlighted by his involvement in a plot to rob a rival cocaine supplier—was disrupted by the tireless work of our law enforcement partners,” said U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg. “Through our combined efforts, we foiled the robbery plan and dismantled the drug trafficking and money laundering organization that Macedo-Rios supplied, thereby eliminating a significant threat of violent crime in our community.”
