Now is not the time for silence.

Much like high school football, last week saw my return to the Friday Night Hoops package for MyTV Charleston.

A crazy fun, competitive and entertaining game with Goose Creek taking on Cane Bay and I on replay for the action.

Great to be back on air for these kids.

As Bowl Mania continues, it’s time for me to say it’s a wrap on football season!

The two hour trek to Conway found another path crossed as I made my way up the coast for another edition of the Myrtle Beach Bowl. Acting as booth A2, I was proud to be a part of such a fun time of the year.

The Myrtle Beach Bowl begins at 11am on ESPN! Tune in won’t you?

This year I was able to follow South Carolina high school football from beginning to end.

After returning to the trailer to help with Charleston’s Friday Night Rivals package, I was asked to get behind the high end zone lens for the six Championship Games from SC State in Orangeburg, SC.

It was back to the surf turf for my first time on the field as A2!

This weekend I made my way up to Conway, SC and Coastal Carolina to run Field A2 for the first time as Coastal took on a James Madison team looking to make the College Football Playoffs.

Football season won’t quite end for me yet.

It’s Feast Week! And the best part of taking part in the festivities is I don’t have to leave town.

I was once again asked to work the Charleston Classic, as part of ESPN’s tournament schedule. This time I made my way courtside and settled in as A2 for the first time on the hardwood.

Back in the booth this weekend! Made my way to the Queen City to run Booth A2 for UTSA vs. UNC-Charlotte.

Just when I think I’m done with football, I’m pulled back in! What’s left? Some playoffs? A bowl game? Time will tell!

Good morning.

Hello.

Now this was a cool one.

Monday the college basketball season tipped off. And the road to Indianapolis started at my finger tips.

Directing the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon saw Game 1 tip off at 8am, marking the official start of the 2025-26 college basketball season.

Made my way up to Columbia and got a lil cocky as I ran Booth A2 for the #14 Oklahoma Sooners vs. the South Carolina Gamecocks.

A great learning experience, one that made me say “I belong,” also a major milestone as an SEC game is checked off the list.

Let’s do more, Willy B.

What a unique experience last night. Called upon to produce the in house show for a preseason game between the Charlotte Hornets and OKC Thunder at the N. Charleston Coliseum.

While getting a taste of working a pro event, I was able to catch up with a former intern who now works for the Hornets.

Thursday I had the privilege, again, to speak to Scott Eisberg’s class at College of Charleston.

I discussed the life of a freelancer, what all can be done freelancing in sports, and a break down of what makes a show successful.

I’m always thankful for Scottie providing me the opportunity!

After a three year absence it’s great to be back with ABC News 4 and MyTV Charleston’s Friday Night Rivals package.

Whether running replay or directing again, it’s been like riding a bike. A great 10 weeks to showcase the talent in the Lowcountry.

Working Charleston Battery matches are hardly unusual, but last night was a little different. Instead of manning a camera, I ran XPression! It’s a skill I’m continuing to use and grow, and loved the opportunity. Hopeful for more to come!

Last night marked the end of Season 11 of Charleston RiverDogs action. Though we’ll have no playoffs this year, I was humbled with my second time winning Press Box Employee of the Year. Still gunning for overall Employee of the Year. Perhaps for the hat trick?

Happy National Radio Day to all my friends still in the game, and to all those like myself who have moved on. I loved my time in radio and would gladly go back if the opportunity were right, but I love what I’m doing now.
