Cheddar Gorge in all its peachy glory, this place seems to take on an otherworldly glow as soon as the sun finally dips beneath the horizon.

Colour for me, the orange of the fallen leaves and the thin mist with a hint of blue is perfect

Often when venturing out you hope for golden hour light when in fact the elements may give you something else entirely.
Kilve, Somerset, renowned for fossil trapped rocks, I was greeted with an storm that created this ominous, swirling & frothy experience.

I share your desire too! It's a struggle in summer but so worth it

Beautiful work Michael, ethereal in fact. There's some electricity poles close to me which typically you'd walk by but with a touch of fog suddenly transform -
you've struck lucky with the birds in yours! wonderful

That’s incredible! I’m in awe of this seascape and very inspired too

Brilliant work Jon, reminds me of the skeletal trees at Porlock in Somerset. I really like the 'inky' quality of this shot.

Thanks for taking a look Brent!

I hear there's some snow on the way for the UK later this month, hopefully a good amount. Last time it snowed at this time of year I spent many hours capturing these parkland trees in Wiltshire (until my camera finally froze up and shut down)!

Beautiful! Feeling very inspired by this one Jim. I’ve been meaning to venture over to that side of the UK for a while, just for the castles alone would be worth the trip!

Last nights view at Cheddar Gorge - the sun appeared right at the last moment and very briefly. That’s photography I suppose!
Worth the climb and vista though.

It may be winter here still but I’ve got the remedy by looking through lovely landscape photos such as this countryside scene from Devon, really helps get through the January grey skies!

Late light at the iconic Durdle Door - it's one of those great places to simply sit and enjoy the setting sun, even without a mission to take photos.

That's so beautiful - love how the delicate frost expands outwards, you never know how it will end up!
