How do I say this… it’s unprofessional to critique a piece of work for the attention. Difference between talking in private between pals and making it a whole thing on socials, it only ever comes across as mean spirited and immature. The ones who complain the loudest can’t back it up either.

Went to scad wanting to do pre-vis in anim, majored in Seqa bc it’s where you learn draftsmanship, started a webcomic bc pals did them, got a gig drawing Lumberjanes, kept drawing my webcomic.
I ended up in comics unintentionally and now I’m moonlighting in gamedev 🫡

Finally designed the last BG scene for ch1 of my game and made it more complicated than it ever needed to be 🙂↕️ It never appeared in the comic so I had to design it from scratch but I missed gothic architecture and fitting parts of it into places in impractical ways for no reason

Just found out one of my fav movies has an abysmal rotten tomato score of 9%. I know it doesn’t have a great reputation but I didn’t think ppl hated it THAT much!

I’d be happier if I could live in ignorance of everything and not have to contend with the reality of living in a world run by monsters but that doesn’t stop it from being true.
At least I have loved ones and community plus the imaginary stories in my head, it all keeps me going 🙏

One of the upsides of using unity instead of a niche engine like AGS or rpgmaker is that I can do fancy stuff like shaders and post processing.
The downside is I actually have to learn how to make shaders 💀 there’s a graph mode so I don’t even have to write code but it’s still so alien
