We’re just over two weeks out from polling day - this is when the undecideds will be making up their minds. We want to bring Catherine’s message of hope directly to them, and share why we think she will be a brilliant President for the people.

This Saturday is Super Saturday! A day of action to bring together everyone who supports Catherine and reach out to all those still undecided.

“Catherine has the most dignity, the most authenticity, and she js a deeply principled and progressive person who has united the parties of the left behind her, she will make a great president.” @ivanabacik.bsky.social

Vote Catherine Connolly # 1 on Friday, 24 October.

As President, I will be a constant voice for those children, for those families - reminding the state, day in and day out, that equality must be the measure of our society, not just solely growth or budget surpluses.”
catherinegalway.bsky.social
We have children sleeping in emergency accommodation, families forced into food insecurity, and communities where generational poverty becomes inevitable. Those are not mere statistics - they are human lives.
catherinegalway.bsky.social
This Budget expects struggling parents to make do, shifting the burden of survival onto families and non-government organisations. That is not justice - it is abandonment.”
catherinegalway.bsky.social
“This Budget has a moral failure at its heart. While there has been noise about increases in social support and tax relief measures, what we see is that child poverty and child homelessness have been deepened, not alleviated.

She might pinch your ball or hop on your bike, but she’ll also speak out when required.
There has never been a more important time to elect a President who will be independent of Government.
Vótáil Catherine Connolly #1

"Unpaid carers are predominantly women, which might go some way to explaining why their contributions are ignored." Catherine Connolly speaking out following yesterday's budget on the continuation of the means test for carers, and the unfulfilled promise of a cost of disability payment.

It was great to have @catherinegalway.bsky.social out in Dublin South West.

The choice for the presidential election is now clear.

#Connolly4President has clear momentum and we need to continue getting more people to volunteers on the campaign to keep going for the next 2 weeks!

Catherine Connolly believes in Ireland. She believes in us. She believes in our people. And she will be a president for all the people of Ireland across our 32 counties.

Níl deireadh leis an ngéarchéim costas maireachtála díreach mar go bhfuil na ceannlínte ag trácht ar rud éicint eile. Tá an ghéarchéim seo le sonrú i ngach baile, sráidbhaile agus cathair.

Caithfidh an Rialtas teaghlaigh a chosaint agus ní a bheith ag cur i gcéill nach ann don fhadhb ní ba mhó”.

Tá Rialtas againn atá ag caint faoi fhuíollach buiséid tráth go bhfuil daoine i scuainí ag banc bia agus ag streachailt chun cógaisí a cheannach. Ní féidir sochaí a mheas de réir a OTI ach de réir mar a chaitear leo siúd is mó atá ag streachailt.

Tá rogha á dhéanamh ag daoine gach lá idir bia agus teas. Tá teaghlaigh ag titim siar lena n-íocaíochtaí cíosa nó morgáiste. Tá pá na n-oibrithe imithe ar chostas bia agus fuinnimh. Tá chuile phingin á gcomhaireamh ag pinsinéirí agus cúramóirí.

Ní buanseasmhacht atá anseo ach marthanas.

"Tá sé dochreidte go bhféadfadh an Rialtas Buiséad a chur le chéile gan aon tacaíochtaí costas maireachtála ann dóibh siúd atá ag streachailt ó lá go lá.
Cuireann sé in iúl chomh scartha amach is atá an Rialtas ó shaol na ngnáthdhaoine.

The cost-of-living crisis is not over just because the headlines have moved on. It is biting hard in every town, village, and city. The Government’s response must be to protect households, not to pretend that the problem has gone away."

We have a Government that talks about budget surpluses while people queue at food banks and struggle to afford medication. A society cannot be measured by its GDP, but by how it treats those who are struggling the most.
