Had "Seeing Red" in my head all day yesterday. Banger.
And delighted a S2 is going ahead.
I'm late to the party but Riot Women is superb!

About to watch the final episode, it's a superb cast all round but have really enjoyed seeing Rosalie Craig on screen, having seen her so many times live onstage over the past 15 years or so.

Ah, was supposed to be undertaking some updates between 11-12 this evening and IT have now given me a 6-7 slot.

Made the mistake of communicating this to my team and been hit with 6 7 memes.

The Gregory Brothers' songify mix of Mamdani speeches is an absolute banger and has been in constant play in my head since he won the election.

"Reform would be worse" is both entirely correct and entirely irrelevant until polling day 2029. What matters right now is that Labour's approach is morally repugnant on its own terms, *and is empowering Reform*. As things stand today, its not Labour or Reform. Its Labour *then* Reform.
While it feels like I'm repeatedly slamming my head against a brick wall repeating this massively simple concept. Saying "Reform would be worse" doesn't make what Labour is doing better. Labour is now the most anti-immigration, anti-any marginalised group, government we have seen in decades. 1/
Very long thread: As with many of Labour's anti-immigration policies, this isn't new. British police have been stationed in other countries for this purpose for a long time
It does however show how Labour is pushing more on anti-immigration than previous governments. 1/

I am, slowly, working my way through all the theatres and comedy venues.

Not a speedy task, but a fun one and I am giving it a damn good go.

Actually, i'll take recommendations of lovely independent venues that should be on my "must visit" list if anyone has any.

I've got 4 questions right on Only Connect and we're still on R2.

Pretty sure this is one of the signs of the apocalypse. It's normally one per show in those first two rounds.

Firstly, the new home of the Free Association in Southwark is perfect. Lovely venue, lovely staff. Definitely worth a visit, do go and see something there.

I absolutely can't bring myself to watch the World Cup as it feels like endorsing FIFA.

But I absolutely am grinning ear to ear following last night's results! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Wales still a bit of work to do but what a night!

Very much enjoyed Scotty Mac's opener.

Doing a (probably stupid) test online to get some ideas on potential career changes.

Made myself laugh on this because I suppose if I am unsure then by default probably no.

I think context matters. If I am confident in the subject matter and/or my authority on it then absolutely yes.

Stage/Fright at Regent Theatre, Stoke.

Bloody Hell, this was so good.

Plenty of angry Reece but also unexpected corpsing Reece, which was delightful.

Off to see these two do their thing in #InsideNo9 live "Stage/Fright"

I don't imagine Soulja Boy dancing will feature but it's a fun GIF

That Champion of Champions lineup though - Sam Campbell, Johnny JR, Andy Zaltzman, Mat Baynton and Maisie Adam.

Gorgeous mix of energies in that. What a shame it's a solo episode.

Fuck Yeah! #Taskmaster

Just hear me out. Obviously Ania is brilliant but if Maisie won Taskmaster it would be properly funny, given she didn't have a fucking clue what was going on most of the time.

When I was a kid the idea that United would have a women's team playing in the Champions League at Old Trafford would have blown my mind.

I might not like how the club is being run, but I'll never not love this team.
