As the player character, our WoLs/OCs don't have voiced lines. But also, FFXIV is a Japanese game.

So with that: If your character had voiced lines in the game, what pronouns in Japanese would they use to refer to themselves? Watashi, ore, boku, something else?

I agree! I think it’s really interesting how everyone always makes slightly different color choices for their characters which I think really helps in making our limited choices more unique too. I’ve never really seen any two characters that I thought looked exactly the same.

Right! It’s why we hang art in museums too, so people can see and appreciate it. Even if a post just gets likes, it feels better to know someone appreciated it.

I’m glad someone finally said it. I always feel guilty feeling upset when something I made doesn’t seem to get seen, but it does hurt. We’re all only human after all and want to know that someone else also liked something we’re proud of doing.

I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive
Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time
