@straddleatmosphere.bsky.social has accused me of not doing enough promo for integrated circuits so here is a snippet from a later chapter where viktor deals with the pros and cons of being a superhero

Viktor curses himself for a fool as he leans over his cane. In his hubris following the successful surgeries on his lungs and back, he'd believed himself cured of ever needing to use his crutch ever again. He'd wanted to break the damn thing but had hesitated—it had been a gift from Jayce, after all. So he'd stuffed it somewhere deep in his apartment's closet, where it had remained for months.
Now, his back a line of bruises and his ankle furtively wrapped to try and mitigate the swelling, he yearns for the crutch's support. That insane woman with her chemtech-powered chainsaw had done a number on him-the armor had held up well, all things considered but not without its more fragile occupant taking on some damage. His cane keeps him from hobbling too noticeably on his ankle, but the balance is all wrong.
Plus he'd grown used to hardly needing a mobility aid at all—his hubris once more, believing himself "cured." He spends most of the first hour in the lab seated, grumbling to himself as he repairs the damaged greave that had allowed his injury to occur in the first place.

Viktor has lived his life in pain, but rarely has it been from his own deliberate actions. There's a kind of enjoyment to it, the sweet ache of knowing the pain wasn't from his body betraying him but rather from a choice he himself made. The bruises on his back hardly compare to the wide-eyed look Jayce had given him as he'd held his partner in his armored hands, his body so fragile and light compared to Viktor's augmented form. Viktor flexes his fingers, feeling the phantom sensation of Jayce's trim waist encircled by his gauntlets.
He shifts slightly in his chair, his cock stirring at the memory. The pain now is cut through with pleasure-Viktor blushes as he realizes he's half hard and he frantically presses down on a bruise on his thigh, attempting to quell his arousal. He gasps as it only sends more blood rushing south and he barely stifles the mortifying noise threatening to escape his mouth.
No one tells you that becoming an armored vigilante would also lead to developing some masochistic tendencies.

My second piece for 'integrated circuits' by @straddleatmosphere.bsky.social and @yearnatron5000.bsky.social !! as soon as i read about this scene, I knew i had to draw it!!

Both of the ties are matching in a deep red. Viktor's open shirt is partially revealing the energy source embedded in his chest, faintly glowing of hextech blue.
Jayce, in his council clothes minus the coat, is looking over his shoulder at MH and leaving himself open to what Viktor is doing to him. He looks absolutely pleased about the situation.
