In truth, not yet, but my point was not so much about effectiveness but an acknowledgement of the hard work being put in by our harm reduction and treatment services.
Evaluation is still underway, but we do know Scotland is very different from the US.

Movement in the right direction at least. It is the harm reduction and increased / improved treatment access that is driving this reduction. Better surveillance bring joined up to responsive services are working better and responded quickly to synthetic options and xylazine threat.

Yes! Couldn't agree more. I've had project delays which compromised the science because of such contractual delays.

The meat of this editorial is about the increasingly insane processes universities are creating for doing simple tasks. And the ever-greater auditing demands funders (and ultimately governments) place on universities. It's worth a read if only to know that someone else feels your pain.

Your comprehensive and very readable review was such important evidence. I hope our joint bid to revise the MoD was noted by the committee.

Thank you to the Scottish Affairs Committee at Westminster for discussing drivers of problem drug use and the role of the Glasgow safe drug consumption facility. We noted the need for review of the Misuse of Drugs Act to enable other facilities. I raised the need for stable housing and.. 1/2

Indeed! an opportunity to help inform a new group of MPs of the importance of an evidence based public health approach to problem drug use(and hopefully broaden thinking beyond Glasgow)
