You know what I really like about Apple's Liquid Glass iOS/macOS reskins? They're FUN.

It's super janky, clunky, and occasionally outright broken, but colour and menu icons are coming back and the lensing is cool and something you want to play with.

It's no Appearance Manager, but it makes me :) .

interesting bit in a Lancet article re: Australia's teen social media ban: surprisingly the amount of socialising in person hasn't dropped significantly in the past 25 years, and certainly not by the average amount of social media use.

It remains really funny that the teen social media ban law's explanatory memorandum opens with a quote from a a tech CEO showing how "detrimental to children and young people" — but that quote is from Netflix, notably not being banned.
