You might remember me from Creative Latitude, Designers Who Blog, NO!SPEC, or Women Learn Thai. These days I’m hanging out in Devon with The Man, three Maine Coons and a crazy Staffy. Unless noted, photos are my own.

When your Staffy won’t eat their dog food from a bowl…

Am I bad? Possibly.
Figs. If only … but you are right, the shipping cost would be painful.
Here we go again… only this time fig cuttings arrived early.

In the window: Ice and an UnK (but yum).

Newly planted: Campaniere, Mitchurinska-10, Smith, UnK Sultane and LSU Purple.

There’s now only one missing from my β€˜must have’ list: St Martin (acquired the German version but not the French).
Magus wishing you all a peaceful Caturday. Or is that just wishful thinking ... take care out there.
Have to ask … is that a Chilean/ Brazilian Jasmine?

(I cheated. I looked it up via PlantNet).
Who’s a tatty boy? Brushed in the morning but looks like this by noon. Unlike the other two, Sedgwick has greasy hair. If still in sultry Thailand he’d get shampooed but not here. It’s too cold and I just can’t take the risk.
I miss that about the students. After trips home they'd often bring back mysterious food for us to try out.
ITV: Burning wood and coal at home contributes to the death of nearly 2,500 people each year in the UK, according to research.

But does death always involve drama?
😁😁😁
Thanks. It's not severe, like what happens in Thailand throughout the year. Just unexpected to find that they are still burning here, when damage to health is a known.
I have asthma, plus damaged my lungs living in Chiang Mai (Bangkok got bad towards the end). Restrict my breathing and I suffer.
The man came home with one of these. Seems ok. I’ll see tomorrow if it restricts my breathing. I already breathe shallow (asthma) …

(Thank you for the selection!)
Full face with a filter might work πŸ˜ƒ
Thank you - I had to try (it was a good suggestion- loads of people can wear them just fine).
Darn it. I can’t breathe.

Here’s the thing … I only know a mask is needed after my lungs have filled with damaging smoke. Putting on a tight mask means my lungs strain to get enough air, hurting them further.

Crap. Crap. Crap.
Fear of change ... I'm the opposite. Sometimes.
No probs at all. I just discovered that it's a version of the one we already use for pizza :)
