The trust aims to preserve Welsh heritage and culture by hosting traditional Welsh crafts workshops, Welsh male voice choir rehearsals, and artisan craft fairs.

A perfect example of the type of initiatives supported by the Perthyn programme!

The Perthyn team took part in a funding event organised by @CVSC earlier this month, held in the historic ‘Yr Hen Ysgol’ in Abergele.

Yr Hen Ysgol was recently bought by the Abergele Conservation Trust who plan to renovate it into a museum, community café, an events venue and community centre.

The inspiring Helen & Louis from Sunflower Lounge led an amazing Gofod3 workshop @wcvacymru.bsky.social this week.

They spoke powerfully about how young people leaving care are often left to fend for themselves, but how a decent, affordable home 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 for a more stable & successful future.

Earlier this week, Casey and Kath gave a 3-minute 'flashtalk' at the WISERD Annual Conference, using Dragons' Den-style pitches to promote student housing co-operatives. We were excited by the emphasis on affordable housing/community-led approaches and thrilled to take part in the discussion!
