Worked in the Oil and gas industry for over 50 years in the construction management of many of pipeline facilities and major oil producing plants🇨🇦🖕🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💪💪💪🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I wonder when normal people would dig out a TCP map and if someone wants to get Natural gas to Churchill Manitoba the shortest way is from a tie in and follow the existing railway ROW with an above ground pipeline. No fuss no muss and not pissing in every bodies corn flakes. Entirely within Manitoba

I promised myself I wouldn’t puke when Steven Harper was speaking on CBC. Especially his talk of Canadian unity while his minions are trying to tear it apart. He did more to put us in this mess than Trudeau ever thought of from defence spending, immigration world events and our economy. Just saying

I have to laugh at Pepe and the boys. Scream and yell about carbon tax. It’s gone fuel costs the same. Now scream and yell of another O&G tax. Remove it and guess what will happen? So all the screaming and yelling to remove a tax just is more profit for O&G. They just can’t seem to figure it out. ??

Well if Americans don’t think your shit doesn’t stink your president shit and it cleared the room. Maybe his press secretary got some change a diaper practice in
February 3, 2026 at 5:56 AM
Now in saying the USA is finished we in Canada are watching a political party going down the same dark path as the Republican Party using the same methodology of every other radical right wing party in history. Channeled grievance, victimhood, a scapegoat, hate and religion. The playbook of centuries

I find it very ironic that centrist democrat politicians seem to find work as lobbyists for corporate America and not for lobbyists for the people. Seems corporations pay more than the little guys they once said they represented. Seems a common theme from coal miner Joe on down. Just an observation

I love all this Iran talk these days. Who created the mess? The USA. Iranian people protesting on the streets and burning American flags. Now begging the USA to blast the shit out of Iran and become a democracy again that the Iranians already had. Now how fucked up is that?
February 2, 2026 at 11:27 PM
Seems to me the new conservatives want to be the Canadian MAGA mutts. So much for our Canadian values that we “hold so dear” bull shit. I guess just as with the USA the underbelly rears it’s ugly head. There is no such thing as a “progressive” conservative in the Canadian vocabulary anymore
February 2, 2026 at 10:57 PM
Well personally all these pundits on tv get confused on their demographics. The blue monkeys are both the geriatrics in retirement homes and those that have never had any lessons on civics. They have no idea who is fucking them but they do know they are getting fucked. Net result blame Ottawa
February 2, 2026 at 10:41 PM
Fuck me. I wonder when these babbling idiot politicians are going to figure out that most of the issues they like to whine and bitch about are provincial issues. In my lifetime it has never mattered who was in power in Ottawa. To take a dump is an Ottawa issue and these fuckheads talk about unity?
February 2, 2026 at 10:23 PM
Well something to look forward to. A GST rebate won’t even buy you a happy meal at MacDonalds. YAHOO!!
February 2, 2026 at 10:04 PM
And meanwhile the bonanza of corporate mergers carry on with the result of less competition and more monopoly of our economies. And we still babble on about “affordability” when the sharks are eating the fish.
February 2, 2026 at 9:36 PM
The problem as I see it is that VP Harris could not shake the democrat old boys club mantle and establish herself in her own right as a leader. If truth be known she and the Gov could have won by a progressive platform of real change. Something other than grievance slogans and corporate baggage.
February 2, 2026 at 9:02 PM
Well let’s face it. We are stuck with 16 F-35s for better or worse. We are stuck with the white elephant TMX. Can we just scatter, regroup and move on and say let’s quit making fuck ups and move in a different direction? The same old same old doesn’t seem to be working. The cons love the past.
February 2, 2026 at 8:52 PM
Why is this fucking god guy doing in our political discourse? Let’s face it he has made a total mess of society. Burned trees. Made some rules but forgot people can’t read. Hands out dirt to the chosen ones. Gets people to kill each other in his name. Creates hate division and inequality. Like fuck
February 2, 2026 at 8:43 PM
To be truthful the Epstein files really don’t mean much for any Americans that consumed “Lifestyles of the rich and famous” on tv. They also lapped up the “Apprentice” Mindless servants of the media.
February 2, 2026 at 8:33 PM
Well we Canadians might want to consider a fair wage for workers and a maximum profit margin of 20% profit for corporations and see who squeals the loudest. The conservatives or liberals. Maybe both. I am sure the public won’t.
February 2, 2026 at 7:58 PM
Well in my foggy memory I recall working in Sudbury and after the union workers received a wage increase within hours the cost of everything in Sudbury went up the same amount. Get a cost of living or any other government handout the cost of things just increasing. The circular route of money.
February 2, 2026 at 7:50 PM
Fuck. The kids in the sandbox again. I wonder if the cons are including the costs of prime, grub hub, Uber eats and others in their food costs. The grievance screaming goes on, without addressing corporate greed.
February 2, 2026 at 7:29 PM
Well when you consider this housing “crisis” is a creation of the “American dream” created by corporations. Buy up cheap farm land, create, the suburbs and convince people you need a car to drive anywhere from your affordable house. Oh fuck. It’s not “affordable”Infrastructure costs money. Fuel, Car
February 2, 2026 at 6:31 PM
Just an observation that our political party’s groom the younger folks in their ideology based on the good old boys club of the past. It’s why we don’t have change and just scream and yell about the same old shit. This whole idea of party first, country and people last is actually anti democratic.
February 2, 2026 at 6:09 PM
The comedy act continues. The USA sanctions Venezuela and wrecks their economy. The USA takes over and now selling Venezuelan oil to India in a “trade” deal. Wonder when Albertans are going to figure out that “Canadian” oil heads to Houston Texas for shipping to the world as American oil? Just saying
February 2, 2026 at 5:58 PM
When are Albertans going to figure out that in 2016 the oil industry went in the toilet due to a WORLD OIL GLUT. Of all people who should know is the fucking conservatives. Soon with all this AI BS water will be more valuable than a barrel of oil.Better understand you can’t drink a computer or phone
February 2, 2026 at 5:40 PM
Well let’s see. While the world INCLUDING CHINA, EUROPE AND INDIA are rapidly going green, reducing dependence on coal and O&G we babbling Canadians dream of being an “energy superpower” Can someone take off the rose coloured glasses and get their heads in the game. THAT SHIP SAILED 40 years ago.
February 2, 2026 at 5:26 PM
Well when you consider that in history European immigrants were escaping from under the boot of the “elite” or a religion for a better life and then created their own society of elites and type of religion. So we did not reinvent the wheel. We just repurposed it for the benefit of the elite. INSANE
