Apparently this BoG remaster was Toriyama's idea. It makes some sense when you think about it. It was his idea for the two DBZ movies to get adapted for TV, only to be disappointed in how Toei rushed Dragon Ball Super into production.

I know they weren't in Toriyama's original draft, but it'd still be cool if SSJ4 Goku and SSJ3 Vegeta were added to the remastered version of Battle of Gods.

It's almost strange thinking just HOW BIG Dragon Ball Super got by its finale. The last few episodes CRASHED Crunchyroll every week, and people filled entire stadiums to see Goku fight Jiren. It was treated like a real heavyweight prize fight, and it ruled.

With the new subtitle, I think it's safe to say that all future Dragon Ball Super arcs are gonna be seasonal, each with a new subtitle.
