Great piece Pete. First heard Das Pop's cover last year - i'm sure because you mentioned it somewhere - & i looked it up. Magnificent. One of those (not) Xmas singles (David Essex "Dea Sancta" from Stardust ?). All those bells. thx. As for Berntholer. yep. Peel + the Festive 50 again. It often is.

Loved that piano spot. . PS: i've a bit more of a love for Love Spreads in last few months thanks to it turning up completely out of the blue marking Mark S return to Lumon in S2 after a three year absence in the recent series of Severance. (can you see what they did there - ha ha ).

The thing about our label is that we get carried away and keep adding more bits until our profit margin is only visible with a microscope. Which is why #BandcampFriday is so huge for us. If you were thinking of buying Sensitive now's the time! needlemythology.bandcamp.com/album/sensit...

Wow. Yes it was ! A Subway package. The Clouds, The Flatmates, The Waltones, and The Chesterfields. The Clouds in Feb 87 ? The Clouds were just terrific that night. PS: Still can't believe i saw The Waltones' James Knox sing at Pete's gig/launch last week. And very fine he was too.

"BLOODY HELL ITS CLARE GROGAN" I said to myself. This was a wonderful night Pete, and a poignant one also for those who couldn't be there. Again all 👏 to you for bringing everything together. To hear Pristine Christine again - oh blimey.
