Now, he couldn't look away from the screen. He had to know Lillium would be okay..

Leon finally looks up to see the screen. He drops his pen as he not only sees both Will and Lucian evacuating people, but the scene of a battle between Lillium and some strange looking dragon had him speechless.

"Lil...what the hell is she doing there..?"

Another late night up catching up with work he missed, he heard a light knock on his door.

"Come in.." he calls out.

As the door opens, his secretary rushes to his desk, pulling out her Rotom.

"Chairman, have you seen the news lately? The stadium in Sinnoh is wild.."

She was trying to protect herself from being hurt again and he can't blame her for that. Leon rubbed the back of his neck, trying to think of what he could do - until an idea came to mind.

"Why don't you come with me?"

She survived here on this island on her own for several centuries, longing to have someone who would understand and stand by her side.

He could see why she was pushing him away now.

Leon was shocked in himself for feeling guilt from her words. He was originally shocked and a bit annoyed that this woman managed to charm him and take him away from his office. Waking in a foreign place and feeling completely disoriented from his situation.

He blinked for a moment, obviously looking confused.

Yeah, there was definitely something wrong. Usually, she would he eager to talk his ear off. Now, she was giving him radio silence.

He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, giving her cheek a brief kiss.

"Lilly, you know I won't judge you if you speak your mind, right? Talk to me."

He was glad that someone reached out, but he couldn't help but feel that she wasn't happy about this arrangement.

Leon took a few steps towards her, a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"You don't sound happy about that.."

As she ran, she went past Leon, who had a questionable look on his face.

"What was that about..?"

Walking beside him was his ace, Charizard, and even his partner looked confused.

"You know..even though I have quite a bit of paperwork, I usually try to keep a routine when it comes to sleep hours.

I think I'll have you come home with me, at least for tonight. You need your beauty rest."

He hugs her tightly, holding her close.

"I hope you slept well. I know how you tend to work until an ungodly hour."
