C’est l’aboutissement d’un long processus politique et mémoriel : mardi 26 août 2025, la France restituera officiellement à Madagascar trois crânes sakalava. Parmi ces restes humains se trouve le crâne présumé du roi Toera, décapité par les troupes coloniales françaises en 1897. Après leur transfert à Antananarivo, les reliques doivent être acheminées dans la région du Menabe, dans l’ouest de Madagascar.

Media is straight up refusing to cover any of the protests, and actively misreporting the basics of the law-breaking across the administration. Normal people who just casually pass by a few minutes of CNN in a week haven't heard *anything* about the worst attack on government since the Civil War.
