I will ALWAYS recommend Invoices if you're taking commission work, it also just offers more protections against scam clients too

A lot of people seem to be misreading the original post

You don't need to rewrite your PayPal Invoice templates if you have the word "commission" in them. OPs advice is blank note OR invoice

My assumption is PayPal is cracking down on this to stop people bypassing fees -

This is exactly why I preach PayPal invoices if you're using PayPal for payments. Never been flagged for the word commission with an invoice

I've had zero issues in the last 6 years using a business account and invoicing from PayPal themselves.

- call it "digital commission"
- include product use, turnaround time, and refund policies in ToS field
- uncheck "ship items to address"
- DON'T write NSFW/adult
