Sorry, perhaps I was unclear. Windfarms on land and near shore windfarms both has great returns on investment and follow good technological curves until the number of good sites is the limiting factor. Off shore windfarms are kilometers out to sea.

True. It might be an easier sell to talk about the investment in a per rider cost. At $0.50 per rider, everyone loves it. At $50.00 per rider, everyone hates it. Everyone likes having an opinion of the cost being worthwhile.
