Trump declares war on Americans: "Our history is filled with military heroes who took on all enemies foreign and domestic. That's what the oath says -- foreign and domestic. Well we also have domestic."

I'm not sure how to read it other than making a commitment to lower rates -- data willing or not -- is the playbook.

The Fed is in a time of transition and it's worthwhile listening to people like Bowman and Miran, especially where their views are outside the current norms at the Fed.

Interesting side note on Tesla comp: one of the milestones Musk has to cross is delivery of 20M Tesla vehicles, but the counting starts on day of first delivery. His 2012 plan had vehicle production milestones (tranches at 100k, 200k & 300k). So basically the same vehicles are being counted twice.
