I feel given their behaviors and lack of visible identifying authority maybe “ goon” would be more appropriate than agent which is a positive term usually indicating a professional in some capacity .

So having the prisoners on busses headed for the airport was not a matter to cause you to expedite matters before they were flown out of the country . I guess those two needed their beauty sleep .

That’s above what I know . Not a lawyer just a guy that was in a union years ago . Maybe a labor lawyer can post more info for us .

The Taft -Hartley act ( 1947) prohibits general strikes , and gives the president authority to issue an injunction to end any strike. Big business pushed it through it has many anti union clauses .

That is something I learned from some Mormon friends . One of the seldom mentioned reasons for their food storage and money savings is to allow them to walk off from an immoral employment situation . Everyone should have that option .

My question , and it’s my fault for not knowing already , what were the qualifications for Schumer to get and hold his position as minority leader ( not senatorial qualifications , party position) … he seems to historically been ineffectual at it .
