Can a signaller call you unexpectedly on the GSM-R, causing you to stop out of course, just so they can get permission from you class 2 to revert a signal ahead of you to let a late running class 1 ahead of you, causing you a delay?

First time today I had to cross over an locally monitored level crossing where the crossing completely failed to operate. No lights, no barriers, nothing.
Luckily I was in passenger service, it was a quiet road at 0730 in the morning!
Definitely woke the Dale up with the horn though!

This is one of my all time favourite shots in my collection. A tricky location to get to but quite rewarding, especially with the golden sun behind me giving a wonderful glow.

It's that time of year again where the rule book updates appear. Nothing too significant this time it would seem but using this time I have due to a cancelled train to bring myself up to speed.
