Here are the 7 GOP senators who voted against advancing the government spending bill with DHS funding: Rand Paul, Ted Budd, Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, Ashley Moody, Rick Scott and Tommy Tuberville. The list does not include Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and Thom Tillis. To say the least it's confusing.

Regarding the Jack Smith hearing, it should be noted that Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 election much earlier than usual -- on Nov. 15, 2022. That was after the public hearings by the House Jan. 6 Select Committee. Trump knew a federal investigation was likely.
