What do y’all use to store your dot files and making it easy to move between machines? Is it just as simple as a dot files repo and using stow with some shell step scripts? Or is there a better option?

I’ll be in Stockholm this week. Hate I’m not going to be in Sweden for the #Goatmire #Elixir conference. Need to check if there are any #Elixir or #Erlang meetups while I’m here.

Anyone have recommendations for what I should make sure to check out while in Stockholm?

This is a really cool project! github.com/bradleygolde...
Think of it like a Quickstart for working with claude code and Elixir projects, that leans on all the conventions we've been working on like tidewave & usage rules.

Has anyone using fly.io and Supabase noticed slow query times? #elixir

I’m upgrading the instance to see if that helps, but if not I may look at migrating to another provider to improve this. Plus, it’d be nice to be on a later version of Postgres than 15.8.

Anyone in the @ash-hq.org community interested in championing the work on github.com/ash-project/...? I've got so much to do I just don't think I can give it the time it deserves. Think of it like an Ash wrapper around Phoenix.Sync with a bunch of goodies out of the box. Any takers? #ElixirLang 👇

Let’s go! Such a great resource for the @ash-hq.org . Congrats, @sevensea.cat and @zachdaniel.dev for finishing the book.

Can’t wait to check out the last chapter!
The #AshFramework book is now content complete, so now is the perfect time to pick it up! The latest update includes many to many relationships, custom code interfaces, pubsub, Oban, atomics… I told you it was a big one! pragprog.com/titles/ldash... #ElixirLang

Just watched the SpaceDB 1.0 announcement. Looks pretty slick. They’re even planning a Postgres wire adapter. Which means maybe it can be a drop-in using the Postgres Ecto Adapter. But, I’m sure there will be some gotchas without a proper Ecto Adapter.

Underjord expects to have spare capacity for Elixir development by the end of June with some flexibility to start early.

They've spent the last few years immersed in Phoenix and fullstack development. I am also decent.

Ash Premium Support has been awesome for our team. The Ash team is very responsive and provides solid advice on how to best leverage Ash for features.

The Alembic team has been a great partner. Definitely check it out if you want to accelerate your Ash adoption.

I always feel like I’m banging rocks together when building UIs. Respect for those that excel in building great UI/UX.

Tailwind is awesome, but I still struggle to position elements properly.

Probably time to break out of my back-end only shell and invest some time into learning CSS.

The third beta of the @ash-hq.org book is out, featuring a new chapter about nested forms! I have it on good authority that there are some new tips and tricks in this one for everyone :)

I wonder if Project Stargate will push us to invest in nuclear power again. With the rise of electric vehicles and power-hungry data centers, nuclear seems like a great option to bolster the grid.
