First trip of the year. Heading down to Aylesbury tonight, Bury St Edmund tomorrow and then on to Diss. Got a comedy play tonight and a folk gig Friday. Will be first beer in 2 weeks so looking forward to a bit of supping.

I’m watching the World indoor bowls championship at the moment and I don’t mind admitting that I’m actually enjoying it!

Had a clear out of the spare room this week. Been the tip twice today and I’ve off loaded my tent and equipment on my friend. Sad to see it go but haven’t used it for 7 years. Room feels bare now.

Had trout at Oda 1st night,followed by Endives at Cambrinus and then Endives at De Vlaamsche pot.
Went in the De Garre on Monday and our favourite bar Hollandse Vismijn on Wednesday. We wish you a happy new year and a wonderful time of travelling if travelling to Bruges
