It is insanely emotionally exhausting to manage my own emotional self-regulation while trying to teach my teenaged child emotional self-regulation.

If you're coping with your own chronic mental illness while trying to be an emotionally present parent, I see you, and you deserve nice things. 💖🫂

I have to co-regulate, use the Socratic method to lead them to understand why being selfish/reactive does harm to relationships, & why it's important to seek harmony and cultivate compassion for people who love and care about you.

I thought these were fake plastic display grapes at the night market but they are real! They taste very mild and slightly floral. I've noticed a lot of fruits here have a floral note that I never encountered in the US
