It is because the big chemical farm lobby in the US weld such power. Lobbying by large corporations should end and American elections should be funded by the government and much cheaper than they currently are. Only then will all congress work for the people.

Today's online cooking lesson started with an idea from various ingredients I had in my fridge and freezer. Duck Confit Mexican Style. I had 2 #ducklegs in my freezer along #duckfat for the confit. I fried the homemade chips in duck fat. I made chipotle mayo dip for chips and spicy plum compote

I quit 23 years ago before my daughter was born I didn't want my baby exposed to cigarette smoke. It wasn't easy because nicotine is so addictive and I don't think nonsmokers really understand that.
